Exhibition Overview
In order to thoroughly implement the requirement of creating Zhejiang's never-ending CIIE and a "world supermarket" for imported commodities put forward by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, participating in the 5th CIIE with higher level, the Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province will hold Zhejiang International Import Commodity Fair at Zhejiang Exhibition Hall in July 2022. The event aims to expand imports, meet people's needs for a high-quality life, enhance the matching with international suppliers, enrich imported commodity market, link the Yangtze River Delta, China market, and global market at large, build an important window and import hub serving the " Belt and Road" Initiative.

Event Background
In order to thoroughly implement the strategy of expanding imports put forward by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, further expand the spillover effect of the CIIE, Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province will hold 2022 Zhejiang International Import Commodity Fair at Zhejiang Exhibition Hall in July, 2022, themed by boosting homestays, tourism and pedestrian streets. As the supporting event of the 5th CIIE, the fair gathers Zhejiang provincial key imported commodity markets and key cross-border e-commerce platforms and building the distribution system for commodity products to enter the Yangtze River Delta and China markets, to create a "world supermarket" for Zhejiang's never-ending CIIE and imported commodities.
About Zhejiang Province
Zhejiang Province is located on the southeast coast of China along the southern part of the Yangtze River Delta, has the permanent resident population of 58.5 million by the end of 2019, an increase of 1.13 million over the last year. In the past five years, Zhejiang's economic aggregate has risen to 6 trillion yuan, with an average annual growth rate of 6.5%. Adjacent to Shanghai, Zhejiang province has the natural geographical advantage of carrying on the spillover effect of CIIE. By the end of 2019, foreign investors (including those based in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) have invested 68, 189 projects in Zhejiang, with the actual utilization of foreign investment amounting to US$226.32 billion, among which 642 projects invested by 187 Fortune Global 500 companies.

Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center is a large-scale modern exhibition hall invested by Ningbo municipal government. It is located in the center of six districts of Ningbo City, with convenient transportation. It is 5km away from Hangzhou Ningbo and Ningbo Taizhou Wenzhou expressways, 10km away from Beilun port, the second largest port in China, and 20km away from Ningbo Shishe International Airport. National Highway 329 can be reached through Yongjiang tunnel.
The exhibition center covers an area of 1463 mu, with an investment of 700 million yuan in the first phase project, a construction area of more than 90000 square meters and a exhibition hall area of 57000 square meters; the investment of 400 million yuan in the second phase project, a construction area of more than 78000 square meters and a exhibition hall area of 34000 square meters. In front of the main entrance, there are 123000 square meters of century square and welcome square. The environment is comfortable and beautiful.
